How to Set Up an SDSU Funds™ Account

Anyone who holds an SDSUcard -- whether student, faculty or staff -- may use the card to pay for a variety of on-campus services. If you do not yet have a card, here's how to get one.

How to Deposit Money onto Your SDSUcard

There is no application form to complete and no fee required to begin using your SDSU Funds™. Once your SDSUcard account is opened, simply deposit cash into your account, and start enjoying the convenience of SDSU Funds™.

Make deposits to your account in any of the following ways:

1. Deposit cash at any campus Card Systems Value Terminal (CSVT) machine. These machines can only deposit money not withdraw; just follow the prompts to deposit money. (Note: CSVT machines are also known on campus as DART machines.)


2. Visit the SDSUcard Office to deposit money into your SDSU Funds™ account using cash, check or credit card.


3. Deposit money into your SDSU Funds™ account with a credit card over the phone. ‡

  • Call 619-594-6800 with Student red ID number.
  • Provide credit card number, expiration date, name of card holder.
  • Request amount. (We supply authorization number to cardholder on request)
  • Student may request transaction record in person.

4. Deposit money into your SDSU Funds™ account with automatic transfer via the Web. ‡

U.S. Bank checking account required.

  • Fifth floor of library
  • SSRL in PFSA
  • Engineering computer Lab
  • General Reference
  • Student computing Center (2 machines)
  • Other locations to deposit money:

  • Aztec Market - At checkout stand
  • Bookstore - At checkout stand
  • SDSUcard office
